2 Specimens are required for this test.

Rheumatoid Factor Screen and Uric Acid

Preferred:
Container/Tube: Serum gel (SST-Gel) tube
Minimum Volume: 3ml

Collection Instructions: Centrifuge within 2 hours.

Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR) 

Preferred:
Container/Tube: Lavender Top (EDTA) tube
Minimum Volume: 2ml
Collection Instructions: Specimen must arrive within 4 hours of draw unless refrigerated. See specimen stability.
