Container/Tube: Sterile screw-capped container
Collection Instructions:  Label container with patient’s name (first and last), date of birth or medical record number, date and actual time of collection, and type of specimen. Send specimen refrigerated. Maintain sterility and forward promptly.Specimen source is required.

Acceptable Fluid Types: Abdominal, Amniotic, Ascitic, Cerebral Spinal (CSF), Cul de sac lumen, Gastric, Peritoneal, Pericardial, Pericardium, Plueral, Synovial, other Misc.
