Preferred:
Container/Tube: Green cap-yellow ring Top (Lithium Heparin Gel) tube
Minimum Volume: 1.0 mL 
Collection Instructions:  Collect 2 hours after GlucolaTM administration. Centrifuge within 2 hours of collection.
Also Acceptable:
Container/Tube: Plain, Red Top or Serum gel (SST-Gel) tube

<120 mg/dL

Alarm values (automatic call-back):  <41 mg/dL or >499 mg/dL

Specimen Stability

Ambient: 8 hours
Refrigerate: 48 hours
Frozen: aliquot for longer storage
