Specimen Requirements

Container/Tube: 2 Blue Top (Na-citrate) tubes
Minimum Volume: Must be full 
Collection Instructions: 2 specimens are required. Must arrive within 4 hours of draw.

Note:  1. Patient should refrain from fatty foods prior to specimen draw.

2. Certain medications will affect platelet function.
